True Optical Resolution Increment
(TORI) Technology
The CymScan 5280 includes an on-board of multiple High-Density Programmable Logic Devices PLDs and CPUs to manage data signals for optical resolution increments.
CymScan 5280 provides True Optical Resolution Increment (TORI) Technology to pick-up pixels from the originals. TORI Technology uses a digital logical circuit to accumulate the pixel positions from the original pick-up pixel information. This ensures all digital data is a true rendition of the original.
Many other systems use interpolation or regeneration pixel signal methods to calculate the resolution increments. Artificially increasing the resolution in these manners may not produce an accurate scan of the original.
